You have reached ambitious goals and solved the easy and the hard problems at work and in your life.
And still, some goals remain out of reach, and some problems refuse to go away.
As a former executive, I understand these situations.
And I know how good we professionals are at giving convincing justifications to our bosses, our teams – and ourselves. The stories we tell obscure fresh approaches and cement the current ones.
But when more exertion and dedication, more time and energy cannot be the answer, it's time to step back, be honest with ourselves and try something new.
For a meaningful conversation, you need someone who can match your experience and energy. In our conversations, you can reflect without having to be too careful, knowing that what you say carries meaning for me without further explanation.
Let's put away the problems before they become your sole focus. Let's work out where you really want to go, kick some ideas around, try stuff out on the spot. You will know intuitively what feels right.
Coaching can be serious business, with deep emotion and insight. But above all, let's be unselfconscious, creative and lively, and let's experiment playfully.
We will shift dynamically between the approaches that work best for you:
It's reassuring that a coach can sport impressive credentials and warm accolades.
But how can you find out if the conversations with this particular coach will really work for you?
You already know that you can purchase concert tickets because you like the looks of the musicians, based on their pedigree, or following rave reviews. But you will only know if their music moves you once you've listened to it.
It's the same with a coach: Only a short, focused conversation can tell you that you really connect, that the coach matches your experience and energy, that the questions and insights really help you create something new for you.
And I need to be convinced myself that I am right for you, that we can work together productively, that I can give you the boost that you want and the insight you need.
So let's just give it a try. Let's take one hour to have a first conversation, to clarify what you want to achieve, which mode of coaching would be best for you, and how we can collaborate to make your ambition a reality.
And let's gauge how well we match and what impact I can have for you, with a focused 30-minute coaching on a topic of your choice. This rests on the matching weight class: This free coaching session is for executives and senior experts. If you are earlier in your career, contact me anyway — I decide case by case.
You will know best if it really works for you, if it creates something new for you that propels you over hurdles and towards your goals.
If you are a manager or HR representative supporting executives and experts, I also offer Corporate Coaching.
